2026–2027 Coniston Flames Bench Staff Certification Requirements
The following information outlines certification requirements for Coaches, Trainers, Managers and U7/U9 On-Ice Volunteers.
🏒 Coaches
All coaches must complete the applicable Hockey Canada and NOHA certification requirements for their division and position. Click the training requirement below for information or registration.

Bench Staff who have taken Coach 1 or Coach 2 prior to 2004 will need to complete the new clinic(s).
⛑ Trainers
Team Trainers must complete all applicable Hockey Canada and NOHA certification requirements before participating as bench staff.

📋 Managers & U7/U9 On-Ice Volunteers
Team Managers and U7/U9 On-Ice Volunteers must complete the applicable requirements before participating with the team.

On-Ice Volunteers cannot provide instruction. There must be one (1) certified coach for every nine (9) players.
