ICYMI: On September 25, NOSM is hosting two FREE public sessions to learn about #concussion prevention, the signs of concussion, when to seek medical attention and steps to return to school and sport. These events in #Sudbury and #ThunderBay will be held in recognition of Rowan Stringer, a high school rugby player from Ottawa, who died in the spring of 2013 from a condition known as second impact syndrome (swelling of the brain caused by a subsequent injury that occurred before a previous injury healed).
